Um eine Brücke zwischen der schweizerischen und der ukrainischen Kultur zu schlagen, wollen wir einen Raum für Dialog und Austausch eröffnen, ausgehend von der Rio-Bar Basel. Wir hoffen, dass dieser historische Ort im Zentrum der Stadt eine Quelle der Freundschaft und des Austauschs zwischen unseren beiden Kulturen sein wird und dass wir von hier aus gegenseitiges Interesse an zukünftigen gemeinsamen Projekten finden können. Hier sind alle Künstlerinnen und Künstler, ob Flüchtlinge oder Einheimische, eingeladen, sich zu treffen und zusammenzuarbeiten, wenn sie dies möchten.
In order to build a bridge between Swiss and Ukrainian culture we want to open a space for dialogue and exchange, starting from the Rio-Bar Basel. We hope that this historical place in the centre of the city will be the source of friendship and exchange between our two cultures, and that from there we will be able to find mutual interest in future joint projects. Here, all artists, refugees or locals, are invited to come and meet and collaborate if they want to.
